Contributing to Global Leadership Innovation Through Learning Design Feedback

Visio partnered with a global leadership development firm to test and provide developmental feedback on digital learning prototypes, earning top client ratings and contributing to innovation in influence-based learning design.

Client Context

A top-ranked global leadership development organization was conducting digital learning experiments to test early prototypes aimed at helping individuals improve their influence skills. These prototypes were part of a broader effort to innovate learning solutions for emerging leaders and team contributors across the globe.

Opportunity

The client needed experienced leadership consultants and training practitioners to provide structured, developmental feedback on digital learning content and methods—not from a technical standpoint, but from the perspective of real-world effectiveness and learner relevance.

What We Did

Visio participated as a selected consultant in the testing of multiple early-stage learning prototypes. This included:

  • Reviewing prototype learning videos and intake surveys
  • Testing digital activities such as micro-actions, planning exercises, and simulations
  • Providing feedback on instructional quality, learner usability, and overall pedagogical alignment
  • Participating in a walkthrough of a digital learning app, simulating the learner experience
  • Offering clear recommendations for strengthening the design and application of the program

Results

✅ 5.0 rating from the client across all performance areas

✅ Valuable feedback that helped shape the direction of an influence-based digital learning product

✅ Strengthened trust and professional relationship with a global innovation team

Why It Matters to Visio

We believe learning innovation must be grounded in experience and insight. This opportunity allowed us to contribute meaningfully to the future of leadership development, bringing both a learner and a facilitator lens to the table.

Lessons Learned

  • Feedback is a strategic asset—especially in early-stage innovation
  • Influence is a critical leadership skill, and its development must be accessible, actionable, and contextually relevant
  • Pedagogy matters more than polish at the prototype stage
